It is believed and proven by people that using mind power and positive energy it is possible to achieve the desires and needs that individual wish for.
Universe is believed to be energy and so are the human beings. However all is hidden in the subconscious mind and once we understand the power of mind and the laws of the universe only then life changes can be made.
“The Law of Vibration states that everything in the universe, no matter what it may be, is energy. Energy makes up the entire universe.”
“We were created by God or by some infinite spirit or consciousness (as some like to call it), this higher power vibrates as well. And since we are a part of this creation or consciousness, we are also energy in the form of a body.”
Many people turns to religion and either thanks of blames God for what is going on in their life, believing is good no matter what you believe in although we are responsible for our owns actions and we are responsible for the consequences as our choices and mindset lead us to where we are in life.
Understanding subconscious minds the first step of changing your life and achieving success what ever you count to be success. We are all different and so we see success in different ways. For some of us achieving success might mean in helping others, which would be their purpose in life that makes them fulfilled and happy. On the other hand some of us might believe success is having a lot of money and be very materialistic about the matter. Others think helping the world to be better place as success. None of these are bad and different people have different purposes in life that can be counted as success if the purpose is fulfilled and believe to be achieved by the person.

“your subconscious, must be in total vibration to the universe for you to get whatever it is you desire”
The most basic and brief explanation of how it works
“To recap, you must understand how the The Law of Vibration, The Law of Attraction, and the subconscious mind work, in order to be able to get what you want in life and to live life abundantly in prosperity. The whole principle works simply by the conscious mind. taking in the input, which can be from all five senses; it will then take this and interprets what it receives. The conscious mind then transmits this to the subconscious mind for processing and acting on. During this stage, if the subconscious mind has any programming held in memory that is in opposition to the thoughts being processed, there is no vibration and no alignment to the universe. And when that happens, the desire or want will fail to materialize.”
You must always remember that the subconscious mind does not know the difference between what is real or imagined.
This year for my constellation option I got James Kent and the subject on sound and soundscapes. This was one of my last choices as I never thought I would be interested in knowing about sound. However after couple of the lectures I have embraced the teaching and became quite interested in the subject. I still do not believe I will apply any of it to my practice, but it was nice to get understanding about it. After that on the next term of study all became surreal as we all had to pick a question for our dissertation next year. I was really in decisive on what I wanted to write about. This is a really big decision for me as I find writing quite hard as it is so I wanted to pick a right question for me which would interest me and make my research fun.
At first a question I have picked was about ‘ How punk rock culture influence art and design’ However after doing the research I found it rather boring and it didn’t interested me as much as I thought it would. I do like punk rock culture, fashion and style so it seemed like a right question for me bu it wasn’t so I reevaluated my interests and I decided I am going to write about power of subconscious mind. This is something I am interested and have been in to it for quite sometime already and the subject does influence me in my work. Recently I have made a medal which is a fully functioning compass based on journey in life, experiences, down falls and how to keep to your purpose in life as a goal. In connection to my work and the high interest I have on how to maximize a human potential to live a fulfilled life, I have come up with the question which actually really excites me and I cannot wait to find out and learn more about it. The question is ‘Power of subconscious mind – how to achieve success’ The subject of the matter is really broad, so in my dissertation I am going to concentrate on the small fraction of the subject. My plan is to look at law of attraction, what is it and how it works. Look at people who used it and applied the secret to achieve success. Subconscious mind is a wonderful thing. Through your subconscious you attract the life you have so by learning how to control your subconscious, life can be massively improved. There are great knowledge about it out there that not every one yet accepts as true. However Joe Vitale, Rhonda Byrne and Joseph Murphy are few of many great teachers that writes in their books about the powers of that human mind. According to them human mind is like a magnet that attracts what ever you give out to the universe. If a person is positive thankful for what they already have they send a positive signals to universe which universe send back rewarding with the desires you have. Your subconscious mind attracts the things you want the most. According to Joseph Murphy day dreaming is your subconscious working, visualizing and accepting it as true. That is the great thing about subconscious mind, what ever you day dream, dream or visualize your subconscious is accepting it as true and with repetition of the thought it is possible to have what you dream about. It is just that easy. However it is hard to filter your thoughts sometimes, so in my dissertation I will cover how to control and filter your thoughts, how to get rid of the bad ones and concentrate on the good positive thinning. Also in my paper I want to look into techniques that are used to achieve success through subconscious mind. Which would be meditation, you need to be calm and feel peace, clear your mind for your subconscious be able to accept the full image of the thought. Visualizing is one of the most important steps, believing it that it is already yours, feeling the feeling of satisfaction of having the things you want. Creating a wishlist or a mood board with pictures on of the things you want will help to boost the vision for subconscious mind to accept. Repetition of the thought, vision and feeling is however a must. As your subconscious is working on getting the desires for you but it doesn’t happen over night so you need to be patient and repetitive of what you want. Many philosophers, writers and artist had applied the law of attraction and have been spreading the word about it for centuries. Taking one of the biggest artist and philosopher out there is Leonardo Da Vinci who mastered the secret. In my paper I do want to find out and write about weather there is any other methods to activate your subconscious mind to achieve success
At the second session the few of the videos really got stuck in my mind. The favorite one must be ‘One Pig by Mattew Herbert’ created in 2011 and is about pigs life.
Which really had a big emotional impact on me. The video and the sound recorded shows the pigs life from the birth to the end of life when it gets, cooked and eaten by people. The artist didn’t manage to get the recordings of the pig actually getting killed but the sound of it being cooked and eaten was enough to have an emotional impact. For a second there i have really considered myself becoming vegetarian. On the other hand humans are in a sense animals too and it is a food chain.
Other video that thought me something new at the session is by Alvin Luceir I am sitting in a room which was created in 2012 when he recorded himself reading and after played the recording while recording the recording until the resin frequencies of the room reinforce themselves and the sound gets destroyed. I have never knew that is possible and that is new to me. Here is the actual video:
The video and the sound of the Cabaret Voltaire nightclub in Zurich was rather unusual and for me personally seemed a bit bonkers because of all the things that was going on and the different sounds that was played. However it did remind me of something that i would do on a funny moment 🙂 Once i found out the meaning of the piece which was only after it was played it all made sense. At first hearing the piece my imagination took me completely elsewhere than what it was. Which brings me back to the point that if sound is not explained throughout it is up to the person to understand it the way they want to.
John Cage is the other artist that came to my attention. Specially the piece of 4’33 where there no sound at all, or so we say there isn’t. The artist actually lets the audience to create the sound as in reality it is impossible to hear no sound at all. Even in an isolated quite room with only you in it it would not be possible to hear complete silence. The sound of the breathing as the blood rushing through your veins would be impossible to ignore.
Many argue its more an art piece than a sound piece, i personally believe it is a combination of both. It is a contemporary art piece as as there is in reality nothing to it apart from that it does attract the attention because its so unusual and nobody has ever done that before. Is that enough to become a contemporary art piece? well that would be a different ‘branch’ on a subject…
As it goes for a soundscape piece however it could fit into the brief slightly taking in consideration that there is no silence and letting people listen what they hear for those 4 minutes and 33 seconds is a sound that they create at that point in time. Is that enough to become a sound piece? I guess that depends on a personal opinion and argument.
Also In one of the sessions we looked at Pierre Shaeffer, Eric Satie and different sound pieces for public places. Considerably this is not my field of interest, however i did enjoy learning about their work and understanding their passion for sound.
For this years constellation I got to do Sonic Art and Soundscapes with James Kent. At the beginning I wasn’t too sure what to think about it as i never considered sound as art and never gave much though about it. At the first session of Sonic Art and Soundscapes we have watched few videos of different artist/researches of sound what works with sound and either creates art using sound or loves discovering and exploring of different possible sounds.
Chris Watson was one of the first videos we watch and it actually quite intrigued me by all the water sounds and underwater sounds that simply with the ear you cannot hear, only with special equipment it is possible to embrace and understand the wonderful soundscapes underwater.
The other video we watched was of Harmonic bridge by Bill Fontana. He recorded the bridge and the recording was played in Tate London in 2006. In my oppinion the sound of the bridge was rather creepy and scary. When i closed my eyes listening to the sound that he recorded pretending i dont know that it was the bridge, the sound reminded me of empty barrels rolling about and the chains hitting the barrels, such a sound i would expect playing at a horror movie. I guess all depends on the individual person imagination how a person want to percive the sound. However the sound of the bridge for me gave a negative feeling and a bit uncomfortable. However the sea soundscape by Chris Watson game me more relaxing and calming feeling the chance to clear the mind of negativity.
Which made me think how sounds effects us emotionally and side effects of our behavior. Could that be a reason that the city sounds which most of the time we don’t even acknowledge makes as more angry and stressed or negative, comparing to the people who live someone close to the sea or nature? Does the sound around us influence us behave differently without us realizing it?
Leif Brush is another artist/musician who mixes electronics and naturals sounds together to create different sounds. He says “Nature has an orchestra” also be believes that a lot of patience and little bit of help of electronics to amplify it and turn up their orchestra.
Personally i am not sure what to think about it, for my ear its a bit of irritating man made noise.
However i like the idea of creating a piece of art while listening soundscapes and man made noises. As i have already discovered taking myself as an example from the first session of sonic art and soundscapes that sound does influence imagination. Materializing the sound you hear is another intriguing point that got my attention. As people perceive sound as they want to unless it is explained through out what it is why & how. So if the sound is unexplained the imagination of the individual would take place and extraordinary unique art could be produced.
